Description:
For families with a family member in out-of-home placement (foster care, legal detention), to assist the family to maneuver through the systems, mediate with the systems for appropriate services, and to monitor family’s progress in the systems. Serve as a central contact point to gather and disseminate information. Assist in developing a family plan to address needs and concerns. Advocate for the family when necessary to help safeguard their rights and to help obtain services they are entitled to receive.
